Certifications, traceability, cold chain, consistency and communication — a quick checklist for importers and distributors.
Choosing where your frozen seafood comes from is a quality and a risk decision. A few things are worth confirming before the first order.
First, certifications — BRCGS, HACCP and the relevant national approvals (in India, MPEDA, FSSAI and EIC) tell you a processor is audited against real standards. Second, traceability: can they tell you where a lot came from and how it was handled? Third, the cold chain: how is product held and shipped, and is it documented?
Fourth, consistency — grades and counts that match the spec, every shipment. And fifth, communication: a partner who answers clearly and quickly is one you can build a business on. Ask these five questions of anyone you’re considering, including us.
